What We Install

Right Operator. Right Application.

Commercial operators are not bigger residential openers. They are different machines: jackshaft mounts that drive the door shaft directly, trolley operators for sectional doors, and slide operators for rolling steel. Different cycle ratings, motor sizes, and control options. We install the right unit for your door weight and use.

  • Jackshaft operators (side-mount on door shaft)
  • Trolley operators for commercial sectional doors
  • Slide operators for rolling steel doors
  • Heavy-duty hoist operators for very large doors
  • 3-phase and single-phase motor options
  • Variable frequency drive (VFD) controls
  • Access control integration (keypads, cards, fobs)

Why Operator Selection Matters

Wrong Operator = Door Failure.

Door Weight Matching

Operators are sized by door weight and cycle count. Undersized operators burn out. We get sizing right based on actual door spec.

Cycle Rating

Light-, medium-, and heavy-duty commercial operators have different cycle ratings. High-throughput facilities need heavy-duty.

Access Integration

We integrate operators with access control, intercom, and security systems. One coordinated install.

Common Questions

Before You Call.

What is a jackshaft operator?

A jackshaft operator mounts beside the door (not overhead) and drives the torsion shaft directly. Common on commercial sectional doors where ceiling clearance is limited.

How long do commercial operators last?

Heavy-duty commercial operators rated for 1 million cycles typically last 12 to 20 years in moderate use. Light-duty units in heavy use may need replacement in 3 to 5 years.

Can you integrate with our access control system?

Yes. We integrate operators with access keypads, card readers, key fobs, intercoms, and building management systems. Most major access control brands are compatible.

Do you service operators we did not install?

Yes. We service every major commercial operator brand including LiftMaster Commercial, Linear, FAAC, Manaras, Marantec, and others.

What is a VFD control?

A Variable Frequency Drive lets the operator soft-start and soft-stop, reducing wear on doors and motors. Critical for heavy doors and high-cycle environments.
